A private, all-inclusive backcountry lodge retreat in the Purcell Mountains, accessed by guided vehicle.
Tucked deep in the Purcell Mountains, the lodge sits at the very end of a rugged mountain road — naturally limiting public access and preserving the quiet character of the area.
Guests are guided in by our team, allowing for a comfortable approach while keeping the setting private and undisturbed.
This remoteness defines the experience. Days are unhurried, evenings are quiet, and the landscape remains untouched by crowds.
Hand-built and comfortable, the lodge serves as a private base for small groups looking to slow down and settle into mountain time. Spacious common areas, outdoor decks, and a quiet setting make it equally suited to conversation, reading, or simply watching the light change on the hillsides.
This is not a hotel. It’s a real backcountry lodge — intentionally simple, warm, and welcoming.
Backcountry Lodge Escape is a small-group, all-inclusive retreat built around good food, guided days in the high country, and evenings spent fireside under dark skies.
Days are guided but unstructured. Guests may choose guided hikes, relaxed exploring, time on the deck, or simply enjoy being unplugged. The focus is on space — both physical and mental — and allowing the days to unfold naturally.
Meals are prepared on-site and served family-style, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and simple, well-executed cooking. Whenever possible, ingredients are sourced locally. One evening may feature a traditional Dutch-oven meal prepared outdoors over the fire, weather permitting.
The focus is not formality — it’s warmth, generosity, and shared time around the table.
